What We Believe
The Bible We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17). It is our only guide for faith and practice.
God We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, was buried, rose bodily on the third day, ascended to heaven, and will return personally and visibly (John 1:1–14; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).
The Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerates believers, indwells them, and empowers them for godly living and service (John 16:8–11; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Acts 1:8).
Humanity & Sin We believe all people are created in the image of God but are fallen through sin, separated from God, and in need of salvation (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3).
Salvation We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works. It is received through repentance and baptism into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:8–9; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4; Galatians 3:27).
The Church We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have been baptized into Him. We practice believer’s baptism by immersion and observe the Lord’s Supper weekly as an act of worship and remembrance (1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Acts 2:42, 47; Ephesians 4:4–6).
The Return of Christ & Eternity We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ. At His return, the dead will be raised, the righteous will be welcomed into eternal life with God, and the unrighteous will face eternal separation from Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15).
